In this episode and the next (are you a subscriber?) we each share our top 10 biggest pieces of advice for bloggers.
Corbett, Caleb, Barrett and myself bring the painful, hard lessons learned and a few new inside jokes to the table.

The Top 10 Mistakes in Online Business
Every week we talk with entrepreneurs. We talk about what’s working and what isn’t. We talk about successes and failures. We spend time with complete newbies, seasoned veterans, and everything in between.
One topic that comes up over and over again with both groups is mistakes made in starting businesses. Newbies love to learn about mistakes so they can avoid them. Veterans love to talk about what they wish they had known when starting out.
These conversations have been fascinating, so we compiled a list of the 10 mistakes we hear most often into a nifty lil' guide. Get the 10 Most Common Mistakes in Starting an Online Business here »

John Wanamaker said, “Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don’t know which half.” It was the same with this podcast.
1/2 was good, 1/2 was pretty much a waste.
However, I realize that the 1/2 that seemed worthwhile to me might not have been the same 1/2 that was worthwhile to someone else. Kind of a paradox.
Writing like you have an audience of 10,000 struck me as profound and thinking about the totality of your work in 5 years made an impression.
Thanks again for the show, I am just not sure which half. :)
Best regards,

I used to download the podcasts as mp3 files and drag them to my phone. Is it possible to download the podcasts now as a file i can save to my phone (not an iphone)? I couldn’t figure out how in Soundcloud.
Thanks!
The best way to get these on your phone, Marianne, is to use a podcast app. You won’t need to drag or drop anything, it all happens automatically. There might be another reason you can’t do that, but here’s a lil’ instructional I wrote up: http://fizzle.co/show/subscribe
Ok thanks Chase! Sorry I missed that the first time.
Great show gentlemen. I need to give it another listen to make sure I picked up all the wisdom – I’m not saying there was a premature launch…and I’m not, not saying that either.
“Research is your friend” – YES!
I needed a little reminder to take a deep dive into the existing body of work on a topic. Simple. Effective.
Thanks guys
Really glad you enjoyed it, Doug. We would NEVER accuse you of squandering your launch ;)
